Hurr's some of my poetry..A+! Haha
7:00 Poem
7:00 PM
Dinner! Calls my brother
The dog barks consistently
Cat meows persistently
We ask the lord for thanks
Then there is the clean up time
We dry or dishes
And scrape off the fishes
Then we are off to homework
The work is so tiresome
We write with our pencils
And use our utensils
Until we can call it a night
Copy-Change Poem
I walked upon a bed of roses
They smelled twice as nice
they tickled my nose
and danced on my toes
until the thorns started to slice
They were so red and pink
The roses that made me bleed
While my hand's in the sink
It made me think
that rose came from a small seed
Here are some of my flippin awesome haikus too.
CHUBBY CATS
I love chubby cats
My cat is twenty-five pounds
I love her so much
TIM BURTON
Tim Burton is cool
he is forty-five years old
He is my idol
RAINBOW
The sky is so gray
The rain made the ground very wet
I see a rainbow
PUPPY
My puppy is mean
He bites and fights all the time
Then he kisses me
Metaphor Poem
Despair is a black hole
It is like falling into an endless pit of nothingness
And never being able to get back to how you use
to be
The real you
It is as sad as a suffering puppy
And as unbearable as your worst nightmare
Despair is like having all of the water on the
earth
Pour out of dry, red eyes
It is as unsettling as a death
And as unsure how it became to be
Some say it was Pandora’s box
And that was the start of the power of despair
Poetry Should
Poetry should clutch a small pink purse
And take the girls out to shop
Wearing the short skirt
With blue flip-flops
Poetry should follow you around like a puppy
When you are on the phone
Chewing on a bone
And playing with you until the sky goes dim
Poetry should be in kindergarten
When small children paint rainbows
And take naps when they are sleepy
When they learn the building blocks to start their
life
